Wanted 3B oil cooler

In as good condition as possible and possibly fixing mounts etc. Mine has started leaking badly so its just a matter of time before it lets go and jet washes my engine in the black stuff Needed pretty urgently as I dont think i dare drive as a result till I get this sorted

I've got the same problem with my ABY oil cooler, I'm going to see if a radiator specialist can repair mine first. Might be worth trying?

The annoying thing is that Audi have discontinued the 3B cooler. ABY still available at 5 times the price!

GSF do the 3B cooler though.

Cheers guys - Ive aldready pm'd David as Ive got some bits lined up from him already but he's not listed an oil cooler. Ironically just been up his neck of the woods getting spliced too!

that would be handy but I cant see one listed I think the ABY would fit ok but I would need to change the pipes and ducting also and probably also the mountings, which would make it even more expensive. Wondered about a recore, should be possible I suppose and worth checing out as an option.

Turning into a heavy month for the S2 what with 4 tyres, brake discs and pads and I think Ive got a wheel bearing off too never rains but it pours!!

They definately do them. Just got mine a few weeks back, they might not be listed but go in to the store and ask.

I've heard GSF can be fecking useless but my local Leicester branch is brilliant. They can usually get me parts where Audi fail me, be it not as good quality.

On another note, if you switch to an ABY cooler you will need to get hold of the bracket, piping, and ducting as they are a totally different setup. The only thing that remains the same AFAIK is the filter housing. Granted they do have different part numbers, but they look identical
