I presume you mean Waste gate Frequency Valve (WGFV), i.e. the N75, or "charge pressure control actuating valve" in VAG-speak, PN 034 906 283 J (for a 3B). Note: the 283 J was also the WGFV in the quattro coupes (from the beginning until 1991).

A 3B WGFV isn't "that" expensive new. About £45.2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
