    UR Quattro engine Wanted

Looking to do an engine conversion with my 2.3 10v as i hear its fairly straight forward.

So i'm looking for a 2.1 turbo UR engine.

Feel free to email, post or PM me if you have one or know where i can find one.

Unless you find a very good S/H one, I would not as many parts are no longer available, heads there are none apart from S/H and like all the others are prone to cracks, also pistons are no longer available unless you have them specialy made. If you find one make sure you inspect all the internals

Agree 100% with aelred there, admitted they sound amazing but the parts are a pita to find.

If you seriously want to carry on with this conversion then search for a 100/200 turbo and get the engine/everything from that, pimpdriver (think thats his username on audifans and quattroforum/classic audi) has a complete car for sale cheap that you could use (iirc £300 last time I saw it, its on pistonheads as well and is in wiltshire)

thought the URQ engine was 79,5 bore and 86,4 stroke( special 85,00 stroke)...
easier to fix a 2,6liter stroker with 10v serious ported head( really nice sound of the 10v) and a serious turbo cam...
think its no prob to get 500+hp with 10 v....
its more like the old URQ style...

          cheers for the advice guys.

would there be a better engine to convert to, that would be easier to get hold of? i.e the 2.6l?

i'd imagine that it would be fairly straight forward. what bhp do they produce?

          again

Judging by Mr Tonk's post today, a 3B is an easy swap

              @ 4wheeldrifting.

I am doing some work on a WR 10 valve at the minute and it's a right PITA to get it running right.

I would go down the 20v turbo route everytime.
