Wanted: ABY Power steering pump and cooler pipe

Well since hosing down parts of my engine bay my power steering pump has been making a proper racket.. not sure what it is but it isn't going away.

Does anyone have a good one for sale? I could do with the cooler pipe that runs infront of the primary rad too.

    Cheers

Does it have enough fluid in there? Sounds obvious but could have been overlooked... Remember to use the correct fluid too.

A seal went on my PAS pump about 18 months ago, I did a part-ex on a reconditioned item from Euro Car parts. They tried fobbing me off with a cheaper item at first, which promptly broke within about 4 months (item no 619440264) but this was replaced under the 12 month warranty with the better item (part no 619440263) which 12 months on has 'touch wood' been perfectly fine. I think it came to around £200 with the exchange. Could be worth a look, but I've heard off a few with noisy ones, so it could be nothing to worry about

Yes plenty of fluid although the cooler pipe is leaking (hence requiring a new one). It wasn't noisy until the day I washed it, wish I never had now.

Don't buy one from GSF, they may seem cheap but don't last (i'm on my third and eventually got a better one under warranty), GSF even admitted that they sell cheap cr_p and have a massive file full of complaints and returns???

Surely one must be available from someone breaking a car? Search through some old for sale threads I've found a few things buried in there that are readily available, stacked on someone's garage shelf

Also to mention - read a thorough reconditioning guide on the forum here for the PAS pump, perhaps getting a seal kit and a bit of DIY if you're bored and the little 'un is sleeping? I do have a leaky PAS pump spare if a donor is required and you fancy the challenge... replaced it with my working item when I fitted the engine.
