2.3 10v head wanted

Anybody got a 2.3 10v head lying around? the thread for one of the spark plugs has gone, and by getting a second hand head maybe cheaper than a helli coil?!

for what engine code as they are not the same ?

any head will fit, from any year... and code.
the older one -85 have the mecanic lifter, and from 86 have hydaulic ones.....

well,,, you are right , they will fit to the block but some of them like NF one has a different design of inlet/injectors ports and if you want cylinder head to match KV inlet manifold, there is no way you can do it without changing inlet manifold to NF one, then rubber intake duct must be custom made as the angle throttle body to fuel distributor wont be the same as on KV

I think mine is the NG, its from a 1990 (H reg) Coupe quattro.

if you have NG then you need a c/head from NG or NF as on both injectors go through inlet manifold.
I don't have a stock head at the moment but if you fancy to upgrade your power a bit
you can pm me for a spec and price of Oettinger big valve head.

For what you'd pay for an upgraded head you could do the following:

fit a recon head from a company with all gasgets
fit a complete engine that can be sourced easily
fit a 20v engine with loom etc

thats what i'd do
