    Wanted: Forged Bottom Arm

While looking around the front of the RS2 to identify the source of a knock, we happened to notice that the N/S front Track Control Arm has been bent, presumably by the "specialist" (read numpty!! ) that fitted the new bushes.

Although this was not the source of the knock, it will lead to premature wearing of the bush.

Do any fellow forum members have a spare kicking about for sale (bushes not important as I'll fit new)?

I've priced one up from Pete at Quattro Corner which is cheaper than the stealers, but at this point in time with all the other expenditure on the car, I think our lass has stopped my pocket money. (Something about food, clothes and shoes for the ankle biters! )

Since buying the car in October, Rob's (GT500) done more miles in it than me driving it back from Hampshire!! So I would like to get some pleasure out of it over summer, and perhaps get to the next Leeds meet.

    Please help me out guys!!

    Andy

Cheers for that. Don't know why they didn't come up when I entered RS2 in the search field (unless it's different in Deutsch !! )

Thanks also to Paul and Greg - it's the nearside (passenger side) I'm after.

Just for the afficionado's here - are these a standard item for the 80-S2-RS2 or is there some difference between the models? (eg beefier on the RS)

                        Arghhhhhhh...

Is there something going round at the moment...

Also need the left side arm...muppet moment in the ice earlier in the year, still got funny steering even with the bent subframe bolt and a new wheel fitted.

Soon to be a shortage of left arms me thinks.

                        Any more going spare...

Hint: short arm at the front and studs point down.
