I was going to use one but the oil cap is on the wrong side and the 3B one is better to use if you go high output coils for example

What's the issue with the oil cap being on the "wrong side". The 7a has been recommended by Doug at MRC to use with the 034 high output coils.

You can't use the oil deflector under the cam cover, the 7A can still be used but I don't see the point if the 3B cover does the same job with the cap in the correct position.

oil deflector isn't an option if you have high lift cams anyway (often the case when you go with the 7a cam cover)

What does the oil deflector do?

Does the 7a cover need to be modded before you can use it?

Sounds like a good idea, I use the ABY cover with my high-output coils and it takes an age to get the cover fitted back on! Too many think ignition leads and not enough length... (not a problem I am used to )

I need to change spark plugs and I'm dreading it
