There is a 2.8 gearbox out off a audi 100 at the workshop ....cant see them been much different

will fit on the engine, and in the bay.... hope it have the same ratio... between the 2 upper bolts at the bellhousing

Checked the 2.8 Gearbox and it is a quattro...so no good for you but there is a 2.0 box FWD there that looks the same ....going to get the vin number and check on ETKA to see what the actual code is as it has about 5 boxes listed for the same car ....ratio differences is what i suspect to be the differences as they look all the same

cheers Steve. No worries if it's not the same but really appreciate you checking. James said other boxes will likely fit but may have different gearing ratios and different final drive.
Spink has a 2.6 V6 coupe box though so could be sorted

hi,

2.6 has the 4.11 ratio

2.8 has the 3.88 ratio.

i´ve got still a CDX Gearbox from my 80 b4 quattro, top condition, 130tkm on it..
