hi any one got a set ov clocks for audi s2 3b my speedo needle is stuck on 40mph when driving butt may shoot up to 70mph is there any way ov sorting this out rev counter seems to be ok and also fuel needle is up and down when cornering any help will be great cheers
it will be peeling behind where the needle sits on the gauge face, take the clocks out of the dash and open them up, carefully cut away the peeley bits, and refit, takes a wee while if its your first time but not difficult at all.
worst bit of it is getting them out of te dash, with the plugs on the back of them. allow plenty of time and dont tugg too hard......just remain patient!!
if the peel is concealed under the centre of the needle, just use a small craft knife to cut the bit away carefully, then I would use some clear nail varnish or similar to stop it lifting again...if you don't it wil just peel again in a few months time BTDT Luckily i managed to grab a speedo at a great price so problem has gone away

Yeah I think it was a great price
to get at the plug easiest, undo the 2x screws that hold the unit in at the front, pull the unit forward and tilt it back letting you get a flat screwdriver in to flick the tags out then pull the plugs off and slide out behind the steering wheel on the passenger side.
