    Metal clutch throw out bearing

Because shipping it from the USA is twice as expensive as the thing itself, I was wondering if anybody knows where to get one a little closer to home (Netherlands / europe). It's about $55 in the states but shipping is $90 so that's idiocy.

I think someone posted on the s4/s6 forum on audiworld that the metal bearing is identical to the plastic bearing, just with the plastic cover removed...

      034 motorsport says:

Metal faced clutch throw out bearing for 01A and 01E applications, Sachs now only offers a plastic faced unit that doesn't hold up to high clamping forces and heat of high performance clutches.

NOTE, THE PART YOU GET WILL BE LIKE THE PART IN THE PICTURE, THIS IS NOT A MODIFIED STOCK PART, WE SOURCE THIS DIRECT FROM A MANUFACTURER OF THROW OUT BEARINGS FOR THIS APPLICATION.

          Ok, luckaly hehe.

Well, if anyone knows where to get one closer to home or maybe has a dozen of them over from an old project, let me know. I'm going to san fransisco in a week, so I'll probably drop by 034 when there. But ordering is easier if the shipping costs are acceptable.
