No ,they are not the same.
Small reds are by default 304mm but can be used up to 314 discs with special brackets.
Big reds are by default 323mm

isnt that only relevent with the rs2 calipers? I assumed (shouldve asked first really) He was looking for 996 monos which use the same caliper for both the 314mm and 323mm a8 disc

depends which caliper...with a porsche boxster S/996 c2 caliper (front) then they are the same caliper, the adaptor/bracket will dictate whether you can run a 314 or 323mm disc.

RS2 style, two piece caliper, then a different story

big reds and big blacks can take bigger discs that 323....will do 332 at least from memory
