looking for a 2.75" (70mm) Turbo to Maf hose

I'm sure it's a long shot, but I need to find a turbo -> MAF hose for a GT 3071 and silicone is dang expensive! :\
I know where to get em new, but I thought I'd put a word out here first. -BTW would it be a "no no" to weld one? I have a buddy who likes to weld for fun, and I thought he could make one from steel or somethin (he's got MIG only).

You can weld a pipe up to connect. Other option is using standard hose with SS 70mm inserted in inlet and then use short section of straight pipe to join to front of turbo from hose over the top of it
