An interesting finding is that the old S6+ (v8 engined) avant and sedan (-96/97) front disc has an aluminium hub that has been fitted to the rotor. Check more from ETKA.
You seem determined to make these calipers & discs work....
Are you sure you dont wanna take up my offer of the Boxster S calipers???
I will make them work, I can get a brand spanking new pair of AP Racing CP6600 4 pot alloy calipers, with larger piston sizes than the 996 Boxster S calipers for £325 delivered to my door and the dimensions of the AP Racing calipers are so similar to the 996 Boxster S calipers that they will fit with a bit of jiggery pokery, so it seems a little pointless to me, to spend the same on a second hand set of calipers, and to be honest id rather have AP Racing calipers than Brembo
AP Racing, the Coventry, UK-based company is a key supplier and the leading manufacturer of performance brake and clutch systems for road and race cars.
