need: Porsche 964 RS Cup 1 Magnesium Rims

    Hi guys and gals. I am after a complete set of 964 RS magnesium Cup1 rims. The dimensions are;

    Front: 7.5x17'' ET55 part# 96536212810
    Rear : 9x17'' ET55 part# 96536212415

I will need a completely undamaged set that does not need repair. I am okay with the finish being worn however.

These are hard to come by and I do not know where to start looking so I thought maybe some of you here might be able to ask your Porsche guys or have seen some for sale.

There is a few I've seen gone on ebay.de but missed the auction and the current one is very steep on the price. Anyway look below at the link if you are curious and can help me out

    http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...#ht_513wt_1167
    Cheers mis amigos,
    _Anton

Erm, I think the going price is about £1,000 a wheel. They are also rather fragile!

I don't doubt it.... just need to find a good used set and with a negotiable seller Yep, they are fragile but worth the gain in decreasing rotational mass while keeping an OEM look. Will suit my needs
      Cheers mis amigos,

Try JZ Machtech www.jzmachtech.com or jasmine or pelican parts for a steer.

Magnesium Cups? I like the sound of that.
I feel left out because my GF has 4.5kg mags on her car.

Does anyone know the weight of these magnesium Cups?

I've lossed the link to the wheel weight comparo of both the aluminum and mags.. but it was around 6-8kg of savings on each rim.

Your gf has mag rims? what for and on what?

loose some weight gain some power still look OEM

Wow. 6-8kg is a huge saving.

Yeah. The Lupo has mag wheels, but people think they are steelies. They have to be felt to be believed.
Tailgate, steering wheel and seat frames are also magnesium I believe. But that's another topic.

Lose weight to gain fuel economy is the game there. If you guys in the US know what 'fuel economy' means.
