Just check you haven't got a broken ABS sensor wire - its just two cables inside the sheath... You can splice them back on (polarity NOT important) if the actual sensor is still OK.
If you do need a new rear sensor - the connector is under the rear seat, but I have seen on at least one occasion that the loom plug on the car is different to the connector supplied on the new sensors so you could be looking at a splicing job anyway.Paul Nugent

Also, double check they are seated correctly. If the sensor is sitting even slightly too far from the hub it won't work...

JUST given them a technical wiggle and, happy days... all seems OK, light out and not coming back on under heavy braking?

With VAGCOM you can tell which sensor is playing up - you must have a damaged cable.Paul Nugent
