Wanted: Exhaust manifold with T3 housing

I was about to buy the STR manifold, but they dissapeared.

I need a manifold to complete my project, hopefully something not too expensive.

    Thanks !
    Giorgio.

It cheaper than an OEM RS2 manifold, outflows an SQ manifold and can come in T3 or K26 flange, Yeah really it is overpriced

supply and demand. not many 5 pots. the guys gotta make a living and the kit is good.

think yourself lucky you aint looking for jdm upgrades. they cost much more bang for buck.

show me a few items that do this job that prove the overpriced nature.

This will always go on. These are not cheap cars to tune, carstens products are second to none. Good is not cheap and cheap is not good.

personally i think they are cheap to tune. thats the reason i bought one over a better designed, better handling R32 gtr.

price up tuning one of these to 450hp against a subaru, an evo or a skyline. even against say an m3.

a cossie may be cheaper but over here they are all "400 brake" down the pub and all smoke more that a 15 year old scania.

i expect the "homemade turbo manifold" kit to be the reply too jamo or maybe he will realise that the majority is often correct for a reason.

do you think those manifolds on ebay (changing the housing to T3) can handle 450 hp without cracking or whatsoever.. ?
                    I'm using GT3071 turbo..

                    example:
                    Manifold

You serious? look at the flange, doesn't allow for thermal expansion, it would also crack without it being braced.

If you want a cheaper manifold then consider this from Wagner http://www.wagner-tuning.de/produkte/abgasrs2rohr.php

thats the manifold of choice IMO. it may not be the best but im not qualified as ive not used others to say but its reasonable value

it flows well, sounds well and like all tubualrs needs to be braced.

i dont understand german either but carsten speaks english and is a nice guy to deal with. you could always use a big turbo rather than the 3071 too.

I think I'll go with that one.

What do you mean with braced ??
