    Wanted - A6 (C5) Avant Breaking anywhere

Must not be damaged at the rear - I need some tailgate trim for a black interior. On line searches turning up nothing and nor are local searches so far.

If anyone has seen such a beast in their local breakers - circa 2000 to 2006 - then I'd be interested. Happy to pay a 'finders fee' if it has what I need.

I think there may be a few in my local breakers - I need some parts for mine so might take a wander down some time next week.

Cool - I'm looking for the big inner section of tailgate trim from A6 or allroad Avant. Must be black and undamaged - 4B9 867 979 G LCQ -that has the sunblind of course so makes it a bit more rare. I don't mind if the actual sunblind is damaged as I can swap that over.

Mine had a little damage from day one, that has gradually developed into the most annoying squeaky noise.

Took me a while to figure how to remove the confounded thing as there is only one screw on the inner grab handle that you can see. The sunblind has to be carefully prised out of its housing to expose 4 x screws which must be removed... Then the whole thing pulls away by a series of spring clips. There is a lot of sonic welded joints so if one is too harsh they just break... Some were already broke on mine... Then I broke some more thru violence and frustration.

They don't post / package stuff though do they? I'd need a local to fetch it... Worth a try though I suppose. Cheers
