I have one hanging up in my garage - used to be fitted to my S2 Avant, the same as yours, before I sold it.
There were never any fixings for the bottom of it. I used to use a bungee elastic to secure it to the tie down rings.
Make me an offer if your're interested.

It seems there are two types, does the top fix where the normal load cover sits? I could be interested but how easy would it be to post without it getting damaged or bent?

The top fixes into the position of the roller cover - which you can leave in place with the dog guard.
I bought it on ebay and had it shipped without any problems - could always put some plywood against it as added protection.

          That sounds perfect!
Is it the same as the one pictured in this thread?

I am in Spain for 5 days after Saturday, but will have it after that if you can pm me a price and where to send payment

Yes it's the same as that one.
As I said above, I don't have the hooks and thumbwheels for the fixing at the bottom.
I seem to think it's grey in colour too, will have to check.
