    Audi S8 brake discs 345x30mm

    Hi!
I bought some Audi S8 Brembo calipers for my S2, now i cant find any slotted Audi S8 345x30mm discs.
They are hard to find in Sweden, and the ones i found was great expensive.
Do anyone know where i can find them like in the U.K or some other country that is cheaper than in Sweden?

If they're genuine VAG then try Quattro Corner or s2avant.

Great shop, great price. Do you know what manufacter they discs comes from?
Two discs from them is cheaper than 1 disc in Sweden. As i thought.

I've bought some camshafts from the u.k earlier, the shipping wasnt that bad!

Yes, as i understand it, its the big brake option from Audi, genuine VAG calipers, discs and pads.
I mailed them to se what they can offer, seems like a great vag-shop.

Great tips and prices guys, but i cant find any slotted discs.

To compare the prices, there is a company in Sweden who buys ate/brembo/zimmerman discs, hes slotting and drilling them himself, this would be done before the heat treatment for the best result. There will be to much tensions when he does it.
Anyway, his price, ÂŁ185 for 2 slotted discs, that will be crap.
Next step is Stoptech, costs $378 for two discs. Good non-floating discs.
And then there is full floating discs from Stoptech, the price is more than ÂŁ700. Is it really worth it?

              What would you buy?

Seems like a great shop to, a little bit higher price even, but still no slotted discs.

how come you want slotted discs so bad mate?

IME they do nothing but cost more and generate loads of noise and kill pads very quickly

Are you sure you tried out good slotted disks from factory?
Not some discs that is slotted by some company/person after they have left the manufacter? What pads did you use?
I will find out if "Performance friction brakes" have pads for my calipers, they are harder and eating a little more at the disc, but it wont glaze or fade.

I have never experienced either noise or killing pads with slotted discs.
I used Brembo Max earlier, but Brembo cant afford slotted disks for my S2.
Slotted disk is good for evacuating (right word?) the gases from between the pads and disc.
It says it makes better grip when the pad/disc-surfafes is wet and im allmost sure it will have som cooling effekt.
