    WTD; Blower unit / Motor

My blower unit is making a horrible noise. Sound slike the motor is on its way out. Anyone got one for sale or know how much they are new? Any tips on having a look at it and checking it?

The RS2 one for aircon is £250 new from Audi (friend just bought one)

Hope S2 is cheaper, but have a feeling it might be the same....

i had a low droning grumble noise for years but this was intermittant. This noise sounds more like a high pitch noise simialr to a drill

Cleaning the copper comutator - where the brushes contact - can help with noise as well.
