This is a kinda hypothetical want as I'm a bit skint at the mo, but has anyone got an after-market cam for 2.2/3 10 valve motor that they want shot of? Not looking to spend big money but you never know what people on here have got knocking round.

Got a stock one sitting in the kitchen. Bit of surface rust, could be reground to a different profile. Free to good hone.

Dunno. The only people I know with eccentric grinding capability (who also know what they're doing) are RMES - Rugby Motor Engineering Services.

Hmm, interesting. Let me know when you have it. Was just after a cam ,cheap, for now as I'm very tempted to pick up a 10 V turbo should one ever come up for a good price. Would be rapid with FWD.

You just missed my engine from the ur quattro, that went as a complete conversion 110k on the clock etc.
