82.5mm aftermarket forged pistons - where to buy

Hey guys I'm wondering where I can buy some forged pistons, wiseco, JE ect. I'd prefer to get them from somewhere that has them in stock rather than getting custom pistons made.

    Cheers

Thanks but 034 are pretty expensive with their JEs compared to a few other places I've seen, but then I've never had dealings with the other companies nor do I know of anyone who has.

All pistons are custom made especially as the 82.5mm piston is only common to the 7A engine ( non turbo )

        http://www.racetep.com/ is who I used.

Else contact Wiseco, CP or JE directly.

I bought mine from 034 Aswell. Was cheap back then.

                Thanks for the replys.

Yes it's for a 7A, currently I'm using NG pistons with valve reliefs machined but I may have damaged one with a boost spike, need to investigate further.

From the looks of it, my options are to get some custom made from a local wiseco/JE distributor or wait a few weeks for another company to get some made.

If I were to get theme made locally, I'd either need to give them one of my existing pistons (take to long) OR does someone have the dimensions and configurations measured and drawn out I can give to the manufacturer to get made?

                        .

Jamo, 7A in turbo application will need the enlarged MLS gasket, the oem fibre one wont cope.

Think that is what James is intimating?

That maybe true but the guy hasn't said it's for a turbo anywhere in this thread only it's for a 7A
