What profile does the Milltek exhaust system for the ABY / ADU engine make?
good sound / subtle? fuel consumption wise?
and lastly how many bhp increase...

Great sounds subtle but loud enough. (20% louder than stock approx). Not boomy or intrusive. Exactly as it should have come out of the factory for an enthusiast.
Don't know about BHP gains but the throttle pick is better and it breathes better IMO....
If you can get one and don't need to go over 350bhp there is no substitute...

With the Milltek on my stock aby it made 258bhp at Weston when chipped 3Bs were making 260-280bhp (up from 238bhp as a completely stock car with a couple of small leaks). Only other mod was the modified airbox and a boost leak kindly introduced by the RR operator
The Milltek cat back was also on the car when it did 294, 296 & 297bhp runs at Castle Combe when other ABYs were doing 270-280 and chipped RS2s were doing 340-350. It certainly works and sounds great in the process, shame that Milltek have stopped them, probrably not a big seller nowadays and their DPs had gone a bit wonky of late too

That's a good option, not sure why but Charlie seems to be averse to fitting flexis, he forgot to do mine twice and hasn't done another audi that I've seen! Worth getting as I have vibration low down and I can't rule out the exhaust. Also, make sure you get 2 lambda bungs and even an EGT bung, you never know when you'll need them and, although my first DP came with them, the second didn't
If you've got the 2.5" cat back then get a 3" DP and 3" pipe to the rear seats, then retain the existing back box, with a sports cat you'll not need a second box IMO unless you want it silent. It keeps the drone down and qorks quite nicely on mine, even with a single back box.
With the 3" DP, he's sleeved the DP from 2.5" to 3" after the WG joins, if I'd had a say in the design then I'd want it 3" before the WG joins, i.e. before the first bend. Other than that it's lasted well over 18 months allbeit short miles with plenty of WOT rather than commuting etc. No knocks and although it sounds a bit blowy, I think it's just free-flowing (passed the MOT fine but I might get it checked).
You're welcome to have a look at mine if you're in Bristol any time

Went for a quote at Longlife and I think they might have learnt from their mistakes fitting exhausts to S2 coupes. I was quoted £400 for the system (3" then 2.5" over the axle) excluding the cat which was either £300 for a sports cat or £250 standard, a 3" dp which he wasn't keen to do he expected to be £400 (as it would take 4 hours to fit).
So in total for a full 3" system turbo back with sports cat and 2.5" backbox it'd be circa £1100.
I think I'll be taking taking the girlfriend to Wales on "Holiday" this spring!Comment

Good plan
The 2.5" drop over the rear axle isn't necessary IMO if you move the line of the exhaust away from the diff, exhaust manufacturers want to keep it all as tight as possible and so it rubs on the output flange, a small deviation, even 0.5" should see it fine.Cheers'en, AndyC

Noticed this on Pistonheads. Don't know if it is anyone on here but might be worth a call to see what it is for that price.

Finally approaching an end to the exhaust saga!
I've got it booked in at Pro-Speed on Monday morning!
I'm getting a 3" from turbo back, 3" centre silencer and a 2.5" rear section, CAT and CAT replacement pipe included.
I've got it fully spec'd out with Charlie as per Rusty's tips so it should be a good setup!
Does anyone have any tips that I might have forgotten to spec out?
Or tips on what I can do in Cardiff all day?! And a place to stay on Sunday night?!
