You are probably right. I was going to repair some that i had laying around, but they were in such a bad condition. And of course, the repairkit didn't have any parts for the handbrake mechanism and the rubber seal for the piston was of the wrong size since the outer diameter of the piston is changes on the new calipers... great...
What's GSF btw?
If it is gsfparts, they take 40 pounds pr caliper in surcharges and that makes it 108 pounds, which is a bit expensive i think... Can't get fwd calipers here in Norway for about £ 68 also. But that doesn't match very good with the handbrake wire sadly...

Yes I did mean GSF parts but as you say the surcharge makes them expensive but I'm assuming you must have motor factors in Norway who are the equivalent of GSF? One set of replacement rear calipers I bought from GSF had been remanufactured in Sweden.

Jupp, we do, but the cheapest i have found for s2 coupe is £165 each... nice price huh?
the calipers for avant won't fit the b3/coupes handbrake wire without some mods. Sorry

OR someone buys one and you pays them to ship it to you?
You can also use the avant one's on a coupe as an upgrade, all that needs doing is moving the routing of the handbrake cable, anton on here knows about this
Its not too hard and gives a bigger rear disc.
Sapphire cos running custom 2.8litre conversion,es cos rims, raven black leather interior and 500+ with the gas turned off.

Do you have any pics of this?
Btw. gives a bigger rear disc? Doesn't the avant have 245x10mm also? so it's easy upgrading to what?
theres quite a few on ebay, seem be re-con ones for about £50 with buy it now
should be th esame on a 90Q b2 and b3, ur quattro, all coupe quattros and c3/4 100 quattros as well fwd c3 100s with abs, however not 100% on that. anyway couldent be that hard to get in england surely?
2.3 20v quattro and s2 coupe quattro are not the same as fwd/b4 sadly...
Seems like in most cases 2.3e 10v has been upgraded from girling 36 to 38 as the s2 coupe etc...
Anton has used the b4 quattro calipers, but don't quite know how he solved the brakeline/wire part, and how it came out.
I think i still have the two from a 90quattro 20v.... If they are any use can be used for surcharge as i wouldnt ever sell them for refitting... Could exchange them at my local GSF then ship out the new ones for you?
