Picture gives some idea of the nightime colour match of Glowshift gauges set to the red colour setting (the 3 gauges in the aux gauges position are all Glowshift, left to right oil temp., oil pressure & boost/vacuum)

They don't look too bad... Guess your other dials are OEM ones?
I have Bo's Plasma ones which are more red than OEM ones...

its hard with pics. i dont mean to offend. maybe in real life its nice.
gotaa say si it looks like its got the glow in the cabin that the bmw has which i like. issue for me is the glow coming from the gauges.
props for trying these things. i know most wouldn't like my setup as its each to their own. ive had a bulb out for months on thr aux gauges and never even fixed that.
thats a different gauge panel to mine. think mines in the right vent though, cant remember its so long since i seen the car.
im a great beliver in if its not broke dont fix it and if its broke take AGES to fix it lol. my gauges are in great condition so they stay that way. for me 230hp was "broken" over half down on what it should be.Comment

Umm, It is hard to see the gauge in the night time shot. Maybe I should try it with the A4 red LED downlighters off to see if I can get a better picture
As for the gauge itself, I still say go OEM style, not these jap looking ones
Cheers n

Took the plunge and ordered this one... Got it for £30.00 shipped (from the states - Bought through Ebay UK) so hope I dont get stung for customs clearance fee's...
Will pop some piccy's up when it all arrives and I get round to fitting them...Comment

Boost Gauge & Mount have arrived, after much searching to find both.......
So the Tools came out after lunch and work commenced...
No Major issues... Had to hack a section of the flap the shuts off the airflow to the center air vents... It only took a few minutes with a screwdriver to pop it out hack it and fit it back in with the help of a pair of plyers...
The Gauge mount is a perfect fit to the vent and the gauge fitted nicely into the mount...
Biggest PITA was getting the boost pipe down to the ECU as there are hundreds of miles of wiring from the stereo to the Amps in the boot... Had to clear them all out so I could get the pipe work down...
At least with having the stereo out it gave me the power supply for the Gauge... only issue there is that it needs both a switched supply and a constant one... The constant was no problem as my stereo one is a constant... The switched was a right PITA to find... Wired it up to the Hazard warning switch in the end...
Took me 3 hours to fit it and get it all glued into place... and needless to say have have the obligatory cuts and bruises related to getting the ECU boost pipe off and fitting the T piece...
Been out with the camera and have taken a few piccy's....

Thing I like about this gauge is that if you get bored with the colour you can change it.... Just press the button!!!

Need to Take some night time shots... but it's not dark yet!!
Took the car out for a test drive and it was showing a boost of -0.6 on tick over which I think is normal and under full power it was reading 1.3 to 1.4 Bar.... Is this right for a Homefried ECU????
Thought I read it should be 1.8 Bar???Comment

Sorry Lee,
Thought I had listed it... Gauge is from here;
I made them an offer of £30.00 and they took it!!!
Asked the to declare the value at £5.00 so I didn't get hit with customs fee's... Don't mind paying the VAT... it's the £8.00 fees from the PO that gets my goat!!!
The surround link is listed earlier in this thread...
Cheers
