Plastic Bleed Screw for water pipe

    Guys,

Been trying to fix a water leak on the coupe today and got that sorted until I bled the system and went to nip the bleed screw on the pipe to the heater matrix and it fell apart as I screwed it up so im in need of one of those if anyone has one?

Is itthe one up on the bulk head? I am after one too. If anyone has a second after Greg has first.
Greg, Audi do them for £40 but have to ship from Germany, alternatively I hear the Samco water hoses have it but I can't afford the whole set. If you find a spare, let me know.
    Cheers

Little nuts? I thought it was jus threaded section of plastic at the top of the tube jus before it goes into the bulkhead.?

Yeah thats the ones, plastic M6. My current solution is using a cut down metal M6 bolt with a fibre washer. I have another issue though, the after run pump is leaking again, it was the reason I had to bleed the system in the first place so I need one of those now...

Sounds like a job for Rusty - a load of M6 cut down M6 stainless bolts made up and added to his growing list of specials

                    Cheers n

Yeah certainly be a good addition, needs to have wide head since it started to weep after a couple of days, and unfortunately my repair didnt work so I ordered a new pipe and afterrun pump from Ben, and even had it delivered the next day

BUT I am still loosing some water so im gonna try changing the hose clips and see if that sorts it out. But starting to wonder if it is being pushed out under pressure which could point toward the head gasket worst case. No sign of oil in header tank of exhaust fume smells in there though.

I've been looking at getting various pipes made up to solve problems like this but it's a matter of finding a manufacturer. The issue is the tight space and small bend radii (relative to diameter) and most places just run and hide. Will just have to keep thinking around the problem...

Andy, All you need to make is the bleed screw, not the pipe aswell.

Need one that's not broke to get size off, could add a fibre washer in there too and have it made from SS316 so it won't corrode and snap!

What part exactly do you need of a water pipe?

I have included a picture for reference:
