Powerflex Wishbone Bushes - REAR, Coupe

I am in need of full set of REAR wishbone bushes for my S2 Coupe. These are listed as PFF3-101 (they are therefore same as pressed steel variant of front wishbone bushes) but it seems all the distributors I have tried are talking 2-4 weeks lead time. I've ordered a set anyway so if anyone has an unused set that they can wait a few weeks on replacing with it would get me out of a deep hole and back on the road.

The S2 failed MOT on these last week (rear bearings, poor handbrake and two schlonky tyres as well) so I want to try and get on the road fairly sharpish. I stripped both rear corners yesterday so its work in progress with other parts and tyres in motion.

Cash / cheque / paypal waiting.

    Cheers,

    Paul

    Febi Replacements

Paul, I have 4 x Febi aftermarket replacements in my shed waiting to go onto my car. I know they're not exactly what you're after but I've used them successfully on several cars to last the roads over here. Cost me €24. If they're any good to you, you can have em. Would have to check part numbers etc.

Thanks for that, but I can get those easily from ECP - I'd just prefer to not fight with wishbone removal twice... really prefer to upgrade them to powerflex while the opportunity is here... My own fault for not forward planning of course.

I have 4 spare ones for pressed wishbones, however they came of the front as I had managed to damage the front bones and so to the bushes slightly, however got new ones coming they're yours for as long you need. The 4 replacements for the forged bones I have came this morning after ordering a week ago so not that bad time scale as I was set an email saying they had be manufactured

On an other note super flex are meant to be better for pressed bones and might be no lead time on them

thanks folks - couple of possibilities here then -

@goodall - 1 week lead time for new ones sounds brilliant - can you tell me where from as clearly I have been trying all the wrong places so far ?

@re2500 - hold that thought for now...

I'm going to do that on the next big refurb... cannot be bothered to lug out the rear subframe now as it will only start another list of pain (rear diff bushes, driveshaft seals, rear tie rods, rear strut tops, bigger RARB etc etc) the unmistakable expense and a recent fixation for POR15 which means I'll be at it for 3 months

Thanks 'doc'... I picked up your messages today but I also got an email from that eBay seller telling me my order has been shipped so I am looking good now. Just gotta prep and paint the bones with por15 before they arrive. Gotta few more bits to sort of course but £700 quid will see me with a new MOT soon hopefully... 4 new and a box o parts.
