Wanted - 2 part worn tyres - 18"

Hi guys,

Am hoping someone can help me out with this.

Am needing to get a couple of part worns to use just for a month or 2 and to get thru an MOT to save me the hit of new ones right now as ive had a few big bills all hit together.

Am ideally wanting 225/40/18, as long as they're legal they'll do, not worried on brand etc as its just a stop gap for a month, then i'll get some proper ones.

Worth having a browse in ur local directory, Thomson, Yellow Pages etc. Lots of part worn dealers about. Stuck a 235/45/18 on the wifes Z4 so we could hand it back (she clipped a curb and bubbled it!!) cost me 15 quid fitted.
Was actually a Pirelli in very good nick!

I've got a pair of 225 40 18 runflats with lots of tread (6mm ish) on them near Banbury. They are on wheels so you'd need to get them removed. I can't remember what brand they are though, not a well known one. Let me know if you're interested.

I have a pair of Toyo Proxes, about 6mm of tread left, which you can have for £20 each if you want. Am based off A47 near Stamford, Lincs
