My ABY which is a relatively late one never had a throttle damper fitted from new so I question if it's really needed?

Reason I looked at it was that the pedal seems to cume up with a hell of a thump if you suddenly let go. Tightned whats left of mine back up and it stopped. Also would rather try and make sure mine has all the bits it should do.

as obviously been like it for a while so mechanically, other then stopping the pedal slamming into the stop with a thump, I doubt it does much. May help the survival of the linkages though.
