Does anyone have a strobe light i can borrow? it needs to have at least a dial mechanism to show the correct deg of timing, or a digital screen for the same purpose.

yes i bought this one, but it doesnt have a dial to rotate and afix the timing i will be seeing on vems. Only way i could make it work is to put 0 deg on vems and see if the marks are matching. This pistol is only for cars with distributors and the rotating/digital ones are way too expensive for a one off useComment

The MAC timimg light has a digital adjustment in 1/2 deg increments. Set the timing light to TDC and use the timing mark or set the timing increment and use the TDC mark.
I use it quite a lot so if you could post it back as soon as you have used it that would be great.
