when you say project, do you mean you'll be chopping the manifold up? or as in you need a manifold to get a car running? if chopping i have a 7a manifold for sale in for sale sectionComment

hi mate im going 2 be chopping it 2 fit a vw 16v 9a engine, Im not too sure on how the 7a manifold looks like any chance of pics?

a 7a is similar in lower runner shap to a aby.
there are a few ways for a 16v.
1. custom complete like a racecraft fab unit.
2. make your own. if so use a lower section of a big bore 16v inlet, digifant injector cups, top of your choice. i used subaru sport runners to convert from the oval to round. then jenvey stacks and a home brew plenum.
3. cut the runner off a s2.
personally i would not bother. it puts the throttle body on the drivers side. not too good imo.
unless you fab yourself id buy from racecraft or similar. or use a stock kr inlet with a eurospec rail.
port size, fitment,flow, and other minor things spoil it. better with a 1.8t manifold welded to the last inch of 16v or just buy a flange from racecraft or ross.Comment
