Avant .... Bargain S4 or S2

Looking for one very soon but knowing these are hard to come by
thought i'd pit feelers out.

Have got a bullie pup & scooby is sold as to loud etc for pup & cant keep her
settled & she will just eat it !!!! (got scooby untill the guy collects it, have
a diesel estate run about at the door to get my by (HATE IT got no poke to it !! )

Thanks for that, but to many questions un answered, and its got a ding,
which i aint good at sorting out.

If i was to have a S4 it would be a newer one (at a good price) , if a S2, want an avant ABY
(sorry, but am not really asking for much.... or am i )

There's no such thing as a bargain S4.
The cheap ones are all high milers, and unless you are happy to pay the same price as the car again to replace the turbos WHEN (not if) then blow up then go for it!

a have a post on here asking comparisons etc, as i have asked advice
on them both, as dont know anything about the S4, just thought some one her may
own/have owned them.
aint the S2's high milers,
I remember mine had 177k when i got it ????

As for mileage, yes and S2 can do silly miles (if looked after), so can an S4, BUT after 120k or so the original turbos are starting to get on borrowed time.
This is why you will see S4's for sale for £3500-4000, I bet theyve got 130k+ on the clock!
The big problem is, replacing the turbos on an S4 is an engine out job, so unless you are happy to do it yourself you get hit with big labour costs

I've spoken to the guy over email and he says body is good condition, air con AND sunroof. The only downside is a little rust on tailgate.

Any good? I'd rather you bought it than Alltypes

You wont find an S2 Avant without tailgate rust near the wiper, its a water trap and they all suffer from it!
