Agreed!! Daft design.... Odd thing is Ive seen many crapp* TDI's and other Avant models with no rust in that spot, makes no sense!!

You wont find an S2 Avant without tailgate rust near the wiper, its a water trap and they all suffer from it!

have you seen mine? the only rust on mine is on the osf wheel arch & as i would like to see my car go to someone who will appreicate it rahter than some boy racer with no clue I will let it go for £3500

I've spoken to the guy over email and he says body is good condition, air con AND sunroof. The only downside is a little rust on tailgate.

Any good? I'd rather you bought it than Alltypes

Trust your fellas instincts. with the black carpets & black on the door panels it looks rather plush

Leather can be died to whatever colour for up to a couple hundred of quid or £70 if you do it yourself
