WTB: Guage Cluster / RS2 Tub

That red coupe belongs to a UK member. Siv6Coupe I believe. He modded his standard bumper.

RS2 center section is short on both sides and will leave an ugly gap. I've thought about cutting a US center plate on each end and grafting it but that might be risky looks wise. Another option I've found is the center plate that Abt made for the Abt C5 Coupe widebody. I might try this first. Also the RS2 center section has a ridge in the middle unlike the Coupe lamps so is not a streamlined look if you are picky. This is because it runs typ89 style outer lamps which has that ridge. Lil bit silly to have 2 latches on a Coupe to open your gate?! But I believe in trying new things

haha i'll have the guy that may sell my his tub... maybe, take some measurements of it and see what i can do...

i am pretty handy with plexyglass though not sure hwo to go about getting the same reflector look. lol

i may be able to make something out of a red polycarbonate sheet, prismatic plastic sheet, and some kind of led light board behind it to flash BACK OFF! when i hit my rear fog light button...

If you start off with a us number plate you could get a very nice finish. I can loan you the center plate Abt delete panel if those fail.

problem with the us center plate is that it has a cutout on the bottom, so i'd have to make some kind of mounting to hold the plate at the bottom... and it might not turn out so well.

my plan is to get a european s2/cq tub and then just cut around the edges of it and then graft in the new piece somehow... it'd be easier then trying to finish the corners on new lexan sheet. the s2 tubs are nice and arounded around the edges and has the dip at the top, only issue like previously stated is mounting the new sheet in there.

haha i dunno that earlier pic with the plate in the bumper jsut reminds me of those s10/jimmys with the plate recessed in at an angle on the tailgate
