  • WTB: 200q20v/3B braided fuel rail return hose, 034 133 715 N

    Hello,

Has anyone who's parted a 200q20v for the 3B motor got this piece available for sale, preferably in the U.S. if possible? It is the steel braided hose that goes from the fuel rail to the fuel pressure regulator. Part number 034 133 715 N.

Mine was replaced by some kind of rubber hose and hose clamp setup, and it's now leaking.

Chances are the piece would be used along with the motor for any 20vt conversion, but I thought I'd check before I bought a new one.

    Thanks,

    Ken

            expensive piece:

            $98.47

Possibly A hydraulic hose shop could make you a new one preity cheap as an allternative.

Yeah, I think I might do something like that. Do you think some form of fuel injection-grade rubber hose and the proper clamps would be okay to use?

Brett, mine did the same thing over a year ago. Took a few weeks to get the
part (not in stock anywhere USA), pulled the old one off, and had one made for
about $20 at a local shop. The draw back is that it is all braided and kinks
a little on the sharp bends. It was in the car for about 30k until I put the
OEM one the Claire found for me (~$85).

This is supposed to be a common failure in the crimp connection.

It sounds like Pete had the whole elbow piece replaced with braided hose. If I can get a replacement that is just the end where the original one was, it seems like it would work pretty good. The hard part would be to get the length right, since I'd likely bring it in without the other one as an example (it's on my car now). The old repair looks like it was too long, and it's all mounted pretty inflexibly so that's probably not too good.

                    Auditude,

You should have no problem replacing that rubber hose with fuel injection fuel line & fuel injection style hose clamp's. I am almost possitive the leak was caused from those standard style hose clamp's. I actually had the same exact problem with the line from my fuel rail to my FPR. New FI hose & FI clamp's took care of the problem. Just make sure to purchase the proper size clamp's & hose eg. 5/16, 3/8 what ever will fit best over the metel portion of that factory piece.
