yes very heavy, if you will need to turn wheel fast from left to right it is almost impossible...

Ok, than can be an issue indeed. The advantage is that the S2 got a very strong powersteering, so i have to find out.

I'm using a gear setup and it works OK. Gear is much larger then the one in the picture so maybe it makes it better?

yes, with larger gear is OK, for example from ford cosworth transfer box

LHD only though - yet to be confirmed if you can swap the rack and pinion into a RHD rack. my gut feeling is you probably can

Correct. But my option cost me 160EUR and i think it is easier to install. But it is obvisious that has to work, otherwise the steering rack of 034 is a better option.
