He probably means the B5 S4.

Pauly7, looks like you're gonna have to travel further afield to find the right car for you!!

I know little about them, started researching S4's and it seemed a few jobs needed the engine to come out

Too many wasted journeys in the past have put me off trawling the country.

Hmmmn, yes saw the thread on it, not ruling it out but personally I'd favour something more standard, I know a standard car could just as easily be tired but modified cars always make me a bit wary. Interesting to see if it sells on ebay or a better deal could be done afterwards.

Still looking, a couple of cars for sale around the £3k mark but they are miles away, also a couple of RS2's around £10k, ignoring the rarity aspect are they really worth 3 x the price of an S2 ?.

                        Depends how you judge worth.

If you want an S2, but quicker, you're far better getting an S2 and modding it.

If you want the RS2 for what it is, history, charecter and rarity inclusive, then yes.

                            S2

Thanks for the replies, tbh I'm looking for a daily driver so I reckon I would be paranoid about leaving an RS2 anywhere and I'd probably knock ££££££s of it's value using it in all weathers and everyday, regarding an S2 I know mileage isn't the whole story but I think I'd be happier with a well looked after 100k ish car than a 150k car unless it had just about all the usual wear parts attended to.
