ABY piston rings

I need a set of piston rings for my ABY engine I am building, does anyone have a new set knocking around anywhere, they are £38 each from Audi.

Seek out a good engine parts specialists and ask if they stock KolbenSchmidt parts - also known as 'KS' for short - proper high quality parts from Germany - OE equipment in many cases. They won't be dirt cheap but will be better than the hilarious amount of pound notes that Audi UK wants for the same thing.

I can track down KS part numbers for you if you need them but I posted sections of KS catalog on here before so happy searching in the 1st instance.

Get Mahle Mk2 Golf GTI 16V KR piston rings from GSF.

Which are the same price nearley 31.50+vat...... £37.02 might as well go to audi for that difference!

The price for the KS rings from GSF/Euro car parts is for a set for four pistons. You'll need to buy two packs or find someone that has some spare from the two packs they purchased.

Ah ok that seems very cheap.... to cheap IMO. have you got a link for the KS rings?

Think I will just go to Audi and get genuine ones, that way I can buy 5.
