    ABY MAF and swing arm

I am after a working MAF for my 94 ABY avant if anyone has one?
Also need a 'lower swing arm' for the front passenger side with good bushes, if anyone has one or can help me out with what exactly it is i need. Garage told me that the bushes in it are shot and that its easier to get the whole thing than try and fit new ones, is this right?

    Thanks
    Andy

'lower swing arm' will be a wishbone - you need to specify if you are after a pressed steel one or a forged alloy one... tis a bit random which variant you get across the various years and models.

The garage is right in that its easier to just swap a wishbone complete with bushes - they are a bit lazy though as any decent garage should have a press and the knowledge to swap bushes over - takes longer sow would cost you more on labour of course.

My advice to you is find a PAIR of 2nd hand wishbones and have them fitted with powerflex bushes - maybe new bottom joints too unless yours are fresh. Reason being that if one side is shot already, tother wont be far behind it. Bear in mind the forged bones have different (bigger) bushes than the pressed items so you need to be careful when ordering.

I might have a spare MAF here but need to check... Hasnt been used in a while so cannot vouch for state of its health.

Yes they are interchangeable - but do them in pairs for obvious reasons. I think I have a pair of pressed ones lying spare... or are they two from same side - would need to check. They have already been debushed so its a doddle to fit powerflex items.

          Cheers Paul,
Il have a look at mine and see if they look ok, if they are il get them done with powerflex bits. if not il let you know.
If you do have a MAF that would be good though.
