    Wheels and lights

It's a long shot I know but I am after a set of epsiliod headlights and a set of 17" Avus alloys for my S2. If anyone has or knows of any then please let me know.

    cheers

You might leave the S2 fold every so often - but you'll always come back!

You would need to state which type of 17" avus wheels you would like. I know that the S4 and S6 wheels are not the same.

I am after the 17" version of the standard 16" S2 wheel (6 spoke I think)

        Hi Simon,
I don't think the Avus I's are available in 17" but 16" and 18" only. The Avus II's are definitely available in 17" and 18" but have the more modern flatter spokes. Have you thought about the 18" A8 Sport rims. They're a nice OEM 18" alternative without the price tag of the Avus I's.

The Avus II's would be just fine. I do like your rims though Shak they are very tidy, how does it run on 18's though?

I trust you have seen the light and decided to keep your S2 then

I've not really noticed too much difference on the 18's. The ride is a tad harder but not overly harsh. I guess it becomes more of an issue once you start lowering etc. I have a set A8 Sports if you want some pics. I think they suit the shape of an S2 better than the Avus II's. Have a look at some pics with them on before you buy any I guess. I'm sure some guys on here will oblige.

There are no active adverts for mine at the moment so it's staying with me for now. It's a car I don't want to sell as I know i'll regret it but I do keep getting the urge to try something else. Will wait and see if the right RS of some description comes along.

I have had a change of heart regarding the wheels however, I am still after a set of epsiloids

The ride on 18's is ok, I had 18"A8 sports rims on mine and I think they looked great. As Haaran says they do look better than S8's. I run 18's with H&R lowering spring's and the car is fully polybushed too. I'm running S8's as of last week as I bent two of the A8 sports(they'd gone sort after powder coating)

                        And one with the S8's.
Just some finishing touches to do now

The A8 sports do look better than I thought they would do. How much do they car for secondhand?

I paid £195 for mine but they needed a refurb. I've seen them go for a lot less. But again another pic of hoe good they look.
