I've got a non running blue 10v CQ but hey, it's got a shell!

No sunroof, much better for rigidity!

        And headroom!

The shell will be the same as the 20V CQ anyway.

I hadn't thought about the headroom - I'm not tall enough to be bothered by it!

My CQ is actually a 2.3, even though it's 10v - heard a suggestion that it might be a bit unusual? 2309cc is what it says on the DVLA paperwork.

Trust me the extra inches make all the difference when you are 6 foot 6!

all the N/A 5 cylinder CQ's were 2309cc IIRC apart from the Italian ones which were a smaller capacity for tax reasons.

Older ones were 2.2? I looked at a Panther metallic G reg, non cat, before getting the blue car (the nearly black one was very rough, dangling mirror glass and very worn interior). Mine was catalysed (it's not anymore), also a G reg.

Coupe quattros type 89 from '88 - '90 were all 2,226cc KV (136PS) engined, late '90 onwards they grew to 2,309cc NG (133PS) engined cars with the introduction of catalysts. The 2,309cc 7A (170PS) was available from '89 - '91, though as David said, the Italian market had the same engine, albeit in 1,994cc form, designated NM (160PS)

Driver on the wrong side for your purposes I suppose.

                      Hi there Chen,

Well, it's kind of turquoise - not the prettiest colour I'll admit.

Not sure what sort of price to put on it - the car is pretty complete but it doesn't run at the moment. What do you think? PM me!
