Broken throttle pedal

Has anyone got a throttle pedal where the hinged plastic bit has broken off?
Wanted for cunning modification plan

I was thinking of having a new pedal made from ally, could move it slightly so that it's actually possible to heel & toe

Doesn't need anything exotic, just need to be longer IMHO - thats what i'm working on anyway
