Wanted: B4/S2 Headlights (NOT ellipsoids)

I need a complete pair mate, my dagdag came with ellipsoids which it is kindly donating to my coupe .

so i need a cheap pair to replace them.

I do have 2 of the early 3B type ones which don't have the tag on attached the under headlight trim, but otherwise in good nick all the other moutings are ok as far as I remember.

So are you going to B4 front end on the coupe? I had to change the plugs on the headlight loom to fit the B4 ones

They would do nicely mate, how much do you want for them? I can easily fabricate something to attach the trims. Yeah i will need to find some of the later round connectors for the coupe.

Yep im going b4 bud. I do really like the b3 look. B3 grill/bonnet looks the nuts with a v6 bumper. But I bought locally a really cheap 80 TDI crystalsilver saloon that ive been stalking for a while :mischeif:, which had ellipsoids and a genuine RS2 front bumper fitted, had quite a few engine running problems, hence why he sold it to me but £7 worth of injection pump seals soon fixed that!
So i think the RS2 front end will really update the look of the front of my coupe.
I was going to swap everything round and B3 the front end of the 80, But ive just bought from twenty valve a LY9B Bonnet, slam panel and trims, so i will keep the 80 B4.
Keep your eyes peeled for my TDI thread, as it will be getting a makeover between now and xmas, and then about feb i will do an update of the coupe progress. (still up on 4 axles stands with no transmission/suspension at the moment)

Yeah the B3 front end with S2 shape bumper does look really aggressive, but a bit dated compred to the B4 I think
