ok another victim of the snow, bounced off a kerb and the drivers side wheel is now tucked up closely to the rear of the wheel arch. cannot confirm if it is the wishbone itself(was dark) but a couple of Q's :
Anyone got a spare? Pref in the west country?
Gsf appear to list them, but does it come with ball joints?
pete you ever wached finding nemo? with them seagulls??
i havent even looked under the car yet, the balljoint was a bit loose after the brake refitting so it could just be that but i am pretty sure its the wishbone itself
i think mine are cheapy pressed ones but tbh im not bothered which ones i fit as long as it works! You got a spare? may as well just pay my wages to you each week
Sorry for the double post, on a mobile connetion at the second. If your balljoint wasn't done up i'm surprised the cars still in one piece as the feel/handling of the car would be worrying. If you can find out what you've got then we can see, you may be lucky and the ball joint be the issue.
If that its the wishbone and its pressed you can buy them from gsf etc but if its pressed its the forum or audi unfortuantely (if audi ain't nla)
Yes you can use either a pressed or cast wishbone but I found that with the pressed it slightly lowered my car (well enough for the 19's to catch on the drivers side when the garage damaged my cast wishbone and I was forced to use 1x pressed 1x cast)
