        RS2 immo ECU.
Tom Schmalz is a decent tuner as well, but the seller can say anything.
Only thing you can be sure of if the pic and the sticker are right, is that it is a RS2 immo ECU.

Then you have nothing to do with that ECU's chipset.

                  P.S.
You are looking for an RS2 ECU now for 3 months?
Considering that an AAN ECU is the same damn thing except for MAP sensor and a couple resistors, has it not occured to you that it might be a better idea to convert one?

Or why must it be an RS2 ECU? Because you like paying 3x the price for the same thing?

                        Possibly yes.
Depends if the tuner has immo or non-immo chips in there.

                        50/50 chance.

are you sure ? It is quite easy to disable immo i guess

You could probably try fitting an immo killer, but it's easier to modify the ECU.

But I don't see what is the point of buying an unknown ECU from ebay (which could be stock, or with ebay chips, the lister can say whatever, because he knows the average person can never check it) for 600 EUR, then spending maybe 200 EUR to get the immo removed, when you could buy an ECU for 150 EUR and have it chipped and a MAP sensor fitted.

Hell, I just sold an RS2'd ECU for 350. The same one I offered the OP two months ago.

Will probably have another RS2'd ECU for sale soon.
                                If you are interested...
