You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Hy! I need a tool wich can do that double flaring at the brake lines... Can somebody put me in the right direction please! I saw on ebay some..but i really dont know wich is suitable for the double flares.

All the tools I've seen do both single and double flares since a single flare tool on its own is pretty useless! For a double flare you make a single flare first and then reverse the die to turn the single flare into a double one.
The Sykes Pickant tool is a good one to get as it's well made and small enough to be used in situ.
The automatic tools are easier to use but much more expensive and need to be held in a vice.
I bought one from fyffe and mcgrouther for about a tenner. It does the job no bother. Ebay is as good a place as any i think. Defo worth getting a pipe butting tool as well, although some kits include this.
try berner/draper/wurth tools.

I never buyed a tools kit because i alwais go to a brake line factory,it is about 1-2 eur /meter compleete with niples.

I was looking at my brake lines..found this info about flares...and looks like i dont need double flare...is called bubble flare.
