are you looking for hubs or hubs and spindles Martin? if you are looking for hubs with spindles make sure you get them from an avant.

          hybrid_hatch from everywhere else.

I don't need the bearing housings, just the hubs (part the rotor sits on).
Are the rear hubs different from the avant/cope?

the actual hubs are the same, but the knuckles or spindles (whatever you like to call them) are obviously different.

the fact that you specified "ABY" hubs made me think you wanted hubs with spindles, other wise it doesn't make any difference if you got 3B hubs. the difference between 3b hubs and aby only comes when you add in the spindle which has different bolt sizes.

Hmmm... ETKA does show a difference rear hubs are

Wagon (same rear setup as B4 sedan) is P/N
                8A0501653A

Coupe 3B/ABY rear hub is P/N
                895501653

I need hubs from the wagon then?

                Thanks

I'm pretty sure Jimmy G just went through this on the 'geek...He accidentally got avant S2 hubs and they would'nt work on his B3 sedan...Not sure what came out of it in the end, but it sure seems the hubs themselves are indeed different...

I have a set of S2 Avant shafts and never even noticed but the rear splines are much smaller than the fronts, I imagine the hubs match the splines and perhaps the Coupe retains the large spline in the back.
