Swap Aby+7a Exh Valves For Aby Exh

Hi guys does anyone want to swap some ABY+7A exhaust valves for ABY exhaust valves as i have mixed them up and cant seperate them and want to put my head back together

If you cant tell the difference visibly, or by weight then they are the same. Also the 7A cams have higher lift so you should be able to tell by looking at the wear marks which are which.

I didn't think the 7A valves were sodium filled, so they should look and weigh differently from the ABY valves

Some people say they are, some say they arent so who knows. The workshop supplement Audi published for the 7A says they are. But i agree they should look and weigh differently. I read somewhere they are filled and plugged from the top and looking at a new/old valve in front of me both have a visible circle on the top.

when you say they are filled from the top do you mean the collet end or the trumpet end, i also have heard that they are sodium filled

some was filled, some not. only way to know is cut.
