Reasonable priced brake upgrade for V6 80 Wanted

Right now I'm getting somewhere with the 80 V8 conversion thought it was about time I looked into a brake upgrade for it. it was a 2.6 V6 engine, I would like to fit Porsche brakes eventually but does anyone know of a cheaper upgrade for now or have something they can sell me?

    Thanks in Advance
    Gaz.

If you upgrade to 5 stud S2 hubs like Jas11n did on Project Sooty you'll be able to use Porsche calipers and A8 discs.

    Cheers

A possible cheaper option on the 5 stud is some TT callipers. You might find a Ford or Peugeot disc that can be used...

Bingo, Focus RS discs are 324x28 with a height of 45mm vs A8 323x30 with a hat height of 52.15 so I'm sure you can do something with them and some 996 callipers (that are designed to work with 28mm discs). Just get some 323mm brackets machined to give 0.5mm more radius and a suitable offset Might require some spacers, depends on wheel offset.

If it has the single piston callipers a set of twin piston g60s and rotors (276?) from a 20v coupe will bolt straight on and should be very cheap.

Would tt calipers and re drilled a8 discs work? Should be relatively cheap.

996/314 is well worth it when you have the money

The Sucof RS discs were for a 996 upgrade, could be very interesting.

Makes sense, didn't think I'd bne the first to post it up but as they're a 4 stud option, I didn't remember seeing it on here... Good option though
