hunting for a S2 coupe, looking for around 100,000 less is better, modified/unmodified, a late model with the wider 1st gear on the 6 speed box is desired! im in no rush so let me know if you're interested in selling your car or you know of anyone else that is. i believe the age range for these criterion is between 1994-1996 please correct me if i'm wrong
Thanks for highlighting those points! yea im after a RHD and one that lives in england(sorry if your not in england) whereas for the price range, my budget is reasonable but not amazing! I suspect i will have to compromise on somthing but i have time to wait so not that bothered. i am not actually going to say a figure because that just leaves you vulnerable to people adjusting their prices to suit your budget
Jon I think you're going to have to be more specific or you'll be bumping this thread for quite a while I'm afraid. I understand not putting up a price but really you're after
one of the £2k-£3.5k items needing work of some description or some mods to make it a sweet motor
or one of the £3.5k-£6k well minded, good history and a lot of the favourite mods done along with some of the more involved refreshment jobs
or one of the £6k+ items, mint car + mods + mint history & maintenance
What are the deal makers / deal breakers if you get me.

i will take your advice on board and think about it i have had some good replies over the past couple of weeks thanks to those that have replied just really looking for an all round good example of an S2 with no unexpected issues there seems to be such a contrast in prices for these cars
I would not worry that much about the milage as long as there is history to back up servicing etc, these engines can take high milage in there stride with many easily doing 200+k
Thanks for the reply, that exactly the kind of thing I need to know as this will be my first S2 I am just trying to play safe, and not get a dog! Most of the stuff I have learnt about them has just been trawling through previous threads.
